While at Mobile World Congress, VMware renews its commitment in the field of Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) by announcing new solutions and its strategic management for the future, in addition to the VMware Ready NFV certification for partners.

VMware announces that MetTel and Transatel (two important companies in the telcom market segment) are now part of the list of companies that adopts the NFV platform, while now vRealize solutions can a better and more simplified control of operations about NFV management and troubleshooting.
For those partners that would like to migrate towards the VMware platform, a certification plan called VMware Ready NFV is now available. This plan allows to certify NFV capabilities in a VMware environment (further information about vCloud NFV Platform here).

The collaboration between AirWatch, IBM, JAMF and MobileIron inside the AppConfig Community goes on with the goal of promoting a common approach on enterprise app configuration and security, based on mobile OSes standards. Still regarding AppConfig Community, we’d like to signal the entrance of other 16 mobile apps sector leading companies.
